● Capacity: 2×220t/h high-temperature and high-pressure biomass bagasse boilers with 1×55MW steam turbine generator unit+1x40MW steam turbine generator unit+1x15MW steam turbine generator unit and supporting facilities
● Owner: An Khe Sugar Factory of Quang Ngai Sugar Joint-Stock Company, Vietnam
● Construction site: Vietnam
● Project highlight: It is a biomass co-generation project based at a cane sugar factory, with the largest capacity of a single high-temperature and high-pressure bagasse boiler designed by CNDC in recent years.
● Project Overview: Constructed in Vietnam, it is a captive power plant of An Khe Sugar Factory (18000TCD), with capacity of 2x220t/h high-temperature and high-pressure bagasse boilers, as well as 1xB40MW high-temperature and high-pressure back pressure steam turbine generator set and 1xC55MW high-temperature and high-pressure extraction condensing steam turbine generator set, while using the existing 1xB15MW medium temperature and medium pressure back pressure steam turbine generator set using the existing medium temperature and medium pressure boiler (90t/h). When the project is completed, the thermal power plant consists of a total scale of 3 boilers and 3 steam turbines, and serves as the thermal power center of the sugar factory to provide heat and electricity to the process plant, meeting the heat and electricity needs of the sugar factory's production and people’s life. The surplus electricity is exported to the grid, creating economic benefits for the enterprise.
